Holmegaard - No.5, Shot glass

Set a classic Danish lunch table with mouth-blown schnapps glasses. With more than 3,000 designs behind him, Per Lütken was one of Holmegaard's most advanced glassblowers. The No. 5 series was launched in 1970 and its simple expression means that it is still a welcome guest in modern table settings. The schnapps glass holds 5 cl and can be conveniently placed in the freezer shortly before serving an ice-cold schnapps.

Each piece of mouth-blown glass is unique and handmade by the glassblower, who carefully blows the right amount of air through the narrow pipe. Air bubbles in the glass are therefore inevitable and part of the charm that characterizes mouth-blown glass.
